Why red? Red Instead is an intitative that was launched by autistics to reclaim the narrative regarding autism. They don’t want to be fixed, because they are not broken. They want a positive discussion about autism, led by autistics. They want to change the negative connotations they felt were happening because non-autistics we’re dominating the conversation.
