This volunteer position focuses on creating new support groups throughout the state that foster a neurodiversity-affirming, safe, and welcoming environment where Hoosier autistics and/or caregivers across the state can build friendships, share navigation strategies for local resources and reduce social isolation.

This position works with children of all abilities, their families and the general public in our Sensory Calming Spaces throughout northeast Indiana. The hours will vary from week to week and primarily be nights and weekends. Reliable transportation is a must. This is a perfect opportunity for a student who anticipates working with neurodiverse populations and is looking to bulk up their future resume as well as a therapist, or caregiver that needs additional income but also needs flexibility. Hispanic Ally- This 10 hour a week position works with local Hispanic autistics and their families and will facilitate our Mamas Guerreras Support Group. Hours are flexible and travel is limited to northeast Indiana. Applicants must be fluent in both English and Spanish. Must be a US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen to apply.
