Ausome Playdates:
Encouraging one another on our unique autism journey.
"If you want to know how to treat a child with autism, look to their siblings, they will show you."
-

What?
What are Ausome Playdates? They are smaller gatherings where the whole family is invited to attend. It is a great opportunities for your autistic child to socialize. At the same time, your other children can play with other autism siblings, helping them to realize they are not alone. And a way for you to connect with other autism caregivers in a fun, non clinical setting.
-

Where?
Many of the outings are free to attend, however others may have an additional cost. We host a minimum of 5-7 playdates a year with a variety of activities, so your child is sure to have lots of fun! Previously we have hosted events at local playgrounds, parks, Parkview YMCA splash pad and the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo. Our annual Friendsgiving carry in event is always popular.
